2018: Coxswain of the novice eight for all its spring races … Opened the season with strong performances at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational, (3/17-18), finishing second to Virginia twice and winning its second racing session with open water over Minnesota, Clemson, and Tennessee … Split races against Ivy League foes in Columbus, (3/31), racing to an open-water win over Harvard/Radcliffe before falling by five-tenths of a second to Yale in the afternoon … Swept the day at the Big Ten Double Dual (4/6), downing both Iowa and Indiana by open water … Raced at the Big Ten/ACC Challenge (4/21), downing both Duke and Notre Dame in open-water victories … Just missed a medal at the Big Ten Championships (5/12), seven thousandths of a second behind third-place Michigan in a photo finish.
