2021 (Senior): Did not compete … Big Ten Distinguished Scholar … Academic All-Big Ten
2020: Academic All-Big Ten Selection … Season was canceled due to Covid-19.
2018: Rowed in the second varsity four for all spring races … Started the season at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational, (3/17-18), defeating boats from Miami, Tulsa, and Tennessee … Edged by Harvard/Radcliffe and fell to Yale in the Big Ten/Ivy League Double Dual (3/24) … Racing at Ohio State (3/31), fell to both Michigan and the host Buckeyes … Split the day of action at the Big Ten Double Dual (4/6), falling to Iowa before rebounding with an open-water win over Indiana … Raced at the Big Ten/ACC Challenge (4/21), coming in second behind Duke and Notre Dame … Raced to an eighth-place finish at the Big Ten Championships (5/12).
Prior to MSU: Attended the Academy of the Holy Names in Tampa, Florida where she lettered in rowing… Placed third at states in the Women’s Lightweight 8 and competed at Scholastic Nationals as a freshman… As a sophomore she came in first in junior varsity 4 at States, competed at Scholastic Nationals and placed sixth in U17 4 at Club Nationals… Also, made it to the semifinals in the U19 4 at Club Nationals during her sophomore season… Made it to the semifinals in the U23 4 and U19 4 at Club Nationals during her junior season… Competed at the Head of the Charles during her senior season, as well as placing 10th in the nation in the Women’s Varsity 4 at Youth Nationals and 3rd in the nation in the Women’s Masters 8 at Masters Nationals… Was a member of Mu Alpha Theta and Rho Kappa.
Personal: Born on August 10, 1999 in Hackensack, New Jersey… Daughter of Michael and Christina Hojnaski… Member of the French club… Majoring in Business and aspires to be a financial planner.
