2020: Academic All-Big Ten Selection … Season was canceled due to Covid-19.
2019: Named Academic All-Big Ten during the spring season … Sat in the varsity eight boat for all six regattas … Had a season-best time of 6:29.17 in the finals of the Lake Wheeler invitational on April 27 … Turned in a time of 6:36.54 in the morning heat at Lake Wheeler … Finished sixth at the Big Ten Championship regatta with a time of 6:35.124 … Opened the season with time of 6:37.9 and 6:44.48 at the Ivy League-Big Ten Double Dual … Varsity eight finished in 6:31.82 ad 6:52.36 at the Big Ten Double Dual on April 13 … Took third at the Dale England Cup with a time of 7:21.5 … Defeated Louisville on May 5 finishing with a time of 6:36.53.2018: Academic All-Big Ten … Helped power the varsity eight throughout the season of racing … Opened the season in the five seat at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational, (3/17-18), defeating boats from Miami, Minnesota, Clemson, and Tennessee … Fell to both Harvard/Radcliffe and Yale in the Big Ten/Ivy League Double Dual in the three seat (3/24) … Went up against stiff competition at the Pac-12 Challenge (3/31), racing in the six seat against USC, Cal, and Stanford … Split the day of action at the Big Ten Double Dual (4/6), falling to Iowa before rebounding with a half-length win over Indiana in the varsity eight … Raced at the Big Ten/ACC Challenge in the varsity eight (4/21), defeating San Diego twice and falling to Duke and Notre Dame … Raced to a seventh-place finish at the Big Ten Championships in the three seat of MSU’s varsity eight (5/12).
Fall 2017: Rowed in the Head of the Charles with the Spartan varsity eight, finishing 25th in the Championship Eights.
2017: Opened the season with strong performances at the Oak Ridge Cardinal in the novice eight, finishing a half-length behind Virginia in a time of 6:52.551 and defeating Notre Dame and West Virginia in the morning session and posting a heat victory in a time 6:58.975 with a 45-second margin over the Mountaineers and Tennessee in the afternoon (3/11) ... On Sunday at Oak Ridge (3/12), was less than a second off the pace of first-place Virginia (6:48.318) and defeated the Spartan 2N8 and Tennessee by several lengths of open water ... Rowed in a pair of novice eight races at Michigan (3/25), opening the day by finishing ahead of the host Wolverines and visiting Radcliffe in a time of 7:07.53, more than 11 seconds ahead of UM and 17 in front of Radcliffe ... Was second to Yale in the evening session, nine seconds behind the Bulldogs but still six seats ahead of Michigan in a time of 7:02.73 ... In a Big Ten Double Dual at Indiana (4/1) in the novice eight, posted a pair of commanding open-water victories, defeating the Hawkeyes by more than 26 seconds in a time of 6:44.62 before finishing 23 seconds ahead of second-place Kansas and more than 27 seconds over Indiana (6:54.80) ... Hosting a Big Ten Double Dual on Lake Ovid (4/8), rowed to a pair of commanding wins on the day in the novice eight, clocked in 6:46.35 in the morning, about a half a length of open water ahead of UW (6:52.35); MSU then had a 28-second margin over Minnesota in the afternoon ( 6:50.24 - 7:18.44)... Racing on the Charles River in Cambridge, Mass. in the second varsity eight, was about a second off the pace of Northeastern (4/22), and was two seats behind at the finish (6:42.684 -- 6:43.731) ... Was eight seconds behind No. 16 Radcliffe (6:44.6- 6:52.6) in a second raceday on the Charles (4/23) ... In the second varsity eight at Big Ten Championships (5/14), finished sixth behind Indiana in a time of 6:32.868, four seats ahead of Minnesota ...
Prior to MSU: Attended Hockerill Angle-European College in Bishop's Stortford and Hills Road Sixth-Form College in Cambridge... Earned One Bumps Blade Award in the 2015 Cambridge Town Bumps her senior year... Rowed with the Great Britain Start Programme in December of 2014 through May of 2015... Ran Cross-Country and placed first and second in the District Cross Country Championships in 2012 and 2011, respectively... In 2010 and 2011 earned second place in Schools Challenge... Finished third at Bedfordshire Cross Country Championships in 2011... Finished second at Tring Invitational Sevens Rugby... Placed second at East Regional Championships in basketball and volleyball in 2014... Named Rounders Player of the Year in 2011 and All-Around Athlete of the Year in 2012.
Personal: Born on October 2, 1996 in London, England... Daughter of Nick and Lucy Willis... Sister to Mike, Jack and Bruno... Fluent in three languages... Hobbies include skiing, snowboarding, wakeboarding and kitesurfing... Majoring in kinesiology and plans on being a physio therapist.
