2018: Academic All-Big Ten … Mainstay in the Spartan varsity eight … Opened the season in the bow at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational, (3/17-18), defeating boats from Miami, Minnesota, Clemson, and Tennessee … Fell to both Harvard/Radcliffe and Yale in the Big Ten/Ivy League Double Dual in the five seat (3/24) … Went up against stiff competition at the Pac-12 Challenge (3/31), stroking the V8 against USC, Cal, and Stanford … Split the day of action at the Big Ten Double Dual (4/6), falling to Iowa before rebounding with a half-length win over Indiana … Raced at the Big Ten/ACC Challenge (4/21), defeating San Diego twice and falling to Duke and Notre Dame … Raced to a seventh-place finish at the Big Ten Championships (5/12).
2017: Opened the season with strong performances at the Oak Ridge Cardinal in the novice eight, finishing a half-length behind Virginia in a time of 6:52.551 and defeating Notre Dame and West Virginia in the morning session and posting a heat victory in a time 6:58.975 with a 45-second margin over the Mountaineers and Tennessee in the afternoon (3/11) ... On Sunday at Oak Ridge (3/12), was less than a second off the pace of first-place Virginia (6:48.318) and defeated the Spartan 2N8 and Tennessee by several lengths of open water ... Rowed in a pair of novice eight races at Michigan (3/25), opening the day by finishing ahead of the host Wolverines and visiting Radcliffe in a time of 7:07.53, more than 11 seconds ahead of UM and 17 in front of Radcliffe ... Was second to Yale in the evening session, nine seconds behind the Bulldogs but still six seats ahead of Michigan in a time of 7:02.73 ... In a Big Ten Double Dual at Indiana (4/1) in the novice eight, posted a pair of commanding open-water victories, defeating the Hawkeyes by more than 26 seconds in a time of 6:44.62 before finishing 23 seconds ahead of second-place Kansas and more than 27 seconds over Indiana (6:54.80) ... Hosting a Big Ten Double Dual on Lake Ovid (4/8), rowed to a pair of commanding wins on the day in the novice eight, clocked in 6:46.35 in the morning, about a half a length of open water ahead of UW (6:52.35); MSU then had a 28-second margin over Minnesota in the afternoon ( 6:50.24 - 7:18.44)... Racing on the Charles River in Cambridge, Mass. in the second varsity eight, was about a second off the pace of Northeastern (4/22), and was two seats behind at the finish (6:42.684 -- 6:43.731) ... Prior to MSU: Attended Skyline High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan... Earned "Most Improved Novice Female" her freshman year... Women's Varsity Double Scholastic National Champion, placed second in Women's Varsity Double at CSSRA and finished third in Varsity 4+ at CSSRA her junior year... Midwest Varsity Single Champion, ninth place in single Women's Scholastic Nationals and was the Most Valuable Varsity Female her senior year... Four time competitor at the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta.
