Following a pair of seasons as a member of the Michigan State rowing program, Gabby Schultz moved into a new role as a team manager in the fall of 2022.

Played both volleyball and lacrosse at Lansing Catholic … Earned All-League honors in volleyball as a senior … Helped Lansing Catholic to league championships and district runner-up finishes in each of her final three seasons … Also played for Attack VBC.

Daughter of Thomas and Natalie Schultz … Plans to major in political science/pre-law.

Began in the stroke seat of the second novice eight with a pair of races against Ohio State (3/27), clocking times of 7:43.25 and 8:05.07 against the Buckeyes … Earned a pair of third-place finishes in the four seat of the novice eight at the B1G/ACC Double Dual (4/3), posting times of 7:50.41 and 8:36.68 in the two sessions against nationally-ranked Duke, Michigan, and Virginia … At the Big Ten Invitational in Cincinnati (4/17-18), clocked times of 7:29.64 and 7:09.62 in the four seat of the novice eight … In a race featuring two Spartan boats, earned a win in the four seat of the novice eight at Eastern Michigan (4/24) in a time of 7:41.67, open water over the next two entries … Fell to host Indiana at the Dale England Cup (5/1), clocked in a time of 7:39.4 in the four seat of the novice eight … At the Big Ten Championships (5/16), rowed in the three seat of the novice eight, earning a seventh-place finish in a time of 7:21.564.
