2024-25 (Redshirt Freshman) 13-18 Overall, 9-9 Open Tournaments 4-9 Duals: NCAA Qualifier at 125 pounds ... Went 1-2 at NCAA Championships with an 8-4 win over The Citadel's Gylon Sims ... Went 2-3 at Big Ten Championships, earning consolation win over Iowa's Joey Cruz to earn spot at NCAA Championships ... Placed first at MSU Open going 4-0 ... Earned Big Ten dual wins over Michigan and Maryland ... Also earned dual wins against Ohio and Buffalo.
2023-24 (Redshirt) 12-7 Overall, 12-7 Open Tournaments 1-2 Duals: Opened the season going 3-2 at the Clarion Open. His first collegiate victory came in a close 4-2 match against Buffalo’s Max Elton, later at the event he earned his first career fall victory, pinning Kent States Adan Benavidez at the 1:34 mark in the first period … Placed fifth at the MSU Open in the freshman/sophomore division with a 3-2 record with a 10-0 major decision victory against Grand Valley State’s Orion Wilson, along with a pair of decision victories over Northern Illinois’ Trevor Silzer, 4-1, and Northwestern’s Massey Odiotti, 5-3 … Made his first dual start at Buffalo facing Elton for the second time during the season and put on an impressive showing, defeating Elton by major decision, 13-3 … Went 4-1 at the Alma Open with all four victories determined by fall with two matches being finished in the first period and two in the second period … Went 2-2 at the Edinboro Open where he pinned Ohio State’s Garett Lautzenheiser and had a major decision victory over Cleveland State’s Landen Duncan, 16-7.
