AJ Pearson is in his first year at Michigan State in 2026 as the assistant director of player personnel and scouting.
Pearson spent one season (2025) as the Director of Player Personnel at Toledo, working under General Manager Bryan Gasser, who is now the GM for the Spartans.
Pearson previously was a recruiting assistant at Michigan for two seasons (2023-24). He played safety for the Wolverines from 2014-16 and earned letters his junior and senior seasons.
Originally from Johns Creek, Georgia, Pearson graduated with his bachelor’s degree from Michigan in 2016 in movement science. He has also earned master’s degrees in kinesiology from Michigan (2019) and basic medical science from Michigan State (2024).
