Amber Autry joined Spartan Fund in January 2025 as an Associate Director of Development. Autry manages a portfolio of donors to secure major gifts, focusing on fundraising in Northern Michigan, and a regional assignment outside the state.

Autry previously worked at Wofford College from 2022-24, where she significantly contributed to development efforts as the Associate Director of Athletic Philanthropy. She handled the Terrier Club annual giving and excellence fund initiatives, along with planning the Terrier Cub’s annual series of golf tournaments.

She spent the previous year at USC Upstate as an athletic administration and development assistant. She focused on general administration duties in the department with a focus on fundraising.

A native of Michigan, Autry attended Penn State University where she was a member of the women’s gymnastics team. She graduated with a degree in kinesiology and exercise science in 2020 and spent time as an intern with the Nittany Lions in the athletic strength and conditioning department. She added a master's in athletic leadership from Clemson University in May of 2022.
