Colin Donnelly is in his fifth season on the Michigan State staff and his second as the video coordinator. He returned to his alma mater in 2021 as assistant video coordinator.

Prior to his arrival back in East Lansing, Donnelly was a graduate assistant at Arkansas during the 2020-21 season. The Razorbacks reached the NCAA South Regional Elite Eight. He started his career as a graduate assistant at Kent State University during the 2019-20 year.

A former manager under Head Coach Tom Izzo, Donnelly was part of teams at MSU that won two Big Ten Regular Season Championships, two Big Ten Tournament titles and was the Head Manager as a senior in 2018-19, when the Spartans reached the Final Four.

Donnelly graduated from Michigan State in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and earned a master’s degree in sports administration from Kent State in 2022.

He and his wife, Maya, were married in August 2024.
