Dominique Passanante

Dominique Passanante was hired as a professional intern with Michigan State Athletic Performance in August of 2026.
Prior to Michigan State, Passanante served as the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at Kalamazoo College for four years, overseeing women's basketball and women's tennis teams while assisting with the department's remaining varsity sports. She spent five years as a full-time strength and conditioning coach at a performance facility in Richland, Michigan, where she trained athletes ranging from youth to professional levels across a variety of sports. During that time, she served as the Head Strength Coach for the Greater Kalamazoo Skating Association, helping develop multiple athletes who went on to earn national championships.
Before beginning her career in strength and conditioning, Passanante served six years in the United States Marine Corps as a Combat Engineer.
Dom earned a bachelor's degree in exercise science from Western Michigan University in 2021. She is certified as a Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator (TSAC-F) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
