Education: Chartrand holds a B.A.A in Sports Management from Central Michigan University (2015) and a MBA degree from the University of Detroit Mercy (2019).

Job Responsibilities: Responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of the athletic department's digital marketing efforts including marketing automation, digital marketing, website, social media, advertising, and revenue generation efforts.

Past Experience: Prior to Michigan State, Chartrand served as the Director of Marketing and Fan Experiences at Northern Illinois University, where he managed the marketing and sales efforts for all 16 varsity sports. Other previous roles includes serving as the Marketing Coordinator at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) starting in 2019 where he was responsible for all game days, internal and external marketing campaigns, and fan experiences.
