Matt McCulloch joined Michigan State Spartan Vision in July of 2016. McCulloch coordinates with network television for all televised events on campus. In addition, he oversees the BTN Student U program which includes supervising 40+ student employees that produce live broadcasts for BTN plus.

In 2018 McCulloch was instrumental in creating the BTN Student U control room which resides in the Breslin Center. He has won multiple MAB Awards in the live sports categories.
Before his time at Michigan State, McCulloch worked nearly every crew position for live network television broadcasts since 1999, and continues to do so on a freelance basis. He has also overseen the MHSAA playoff streams on NFHS Network since 2012. McCulloch has also been on the broadcasting side of politics where he worked six years as a Video Producer, Director and Editor for the Michigan House of Representatives as well as two years as a Producer for Lansing Community College.

Matt McCulloch graduated from Michigan State University in 2000 with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Telecommunications. He’s a two time BMX National Champion and BMX World Champion. He enjoys spending time with his wife Kelly and his three children, Evan, Max and Samantha.
