Seven Wrestlers Ranked In Top 20

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Seven members of the Michigan State wrestling team are ranked among the top 20 in their weight class in the latest InterMat Wrestling rankings, released Wednesday.
Senior Nick Muzashvili (Unadilla, N.Y./Republic of Georgia) continues to be the top-ranked wrestler at 197 pounds after winning his weight class at the MSU Open. Senior Will Hill (Commonwealth, Ind.), who was named Outstanding Wrestler at the MSU Open after going 5-0 and winning the 184-pound championship, moves up to No. 7 at 184, and senior Greg DeGrand (Saline, Mich) remains the ninth-ranked wrestler at 165 pounds.
Freshman 157-pounder Gray Maynard (Las Vegas, Nev.) jumps from No. 20 to No. 15 this week, while junior Mike Castillo (Ada, Mich.) enters the rankings for the first time this season at 141 pounds, ranking No. 17. Junior heavyweight Matt Lamb (East Lansing, Mich.) is ranked 19th this week after beginning the season at No. 20.
Junior Pat McNamara (Jordan, Minn.), inactive while rehabbing a shoulder injury, retains the No. 3 ranking at 133 pounds.
