EAST LANSING, Mich. -
* Michigan State records its first nine-win regular season since 1966 (9-0-1).
* Linebacker Julian Peterson tied the school career record for tackles for losses with 43. Peterson had three tackles for losses today.
* This is the first time since 1965 that Michigan State has defeated Notre Dame, Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State in the same season.
* Gari Scott's 64-yard punt return for a touchdown in the first quarter was the first return touchdown of his career. The 107 yards that Scott had in punt returns today was also a career high. Scott becomes only the fourth player in Big Ten history to have over 1,000 yards on punt returns (1,075).
* Running back T.J. Duckett set new career highs in yards (159) and touchdowns (four). Duckett now has 10 of MSU's 12 rushing touchdowns this season. Fellow freshman Dawan Moss has the other two.
* Duckett was the first player since 1996 (Sedrick Irvin vs. Indiana) to score four rushing touchdowns in one game.
* MSU finished its home season a perfect 6-0. It was the first time MSU has gone undefeated at home since the 1966 season. It was the first perfect home season since 1965 and the first time since 1912 to record six wins in East Lansing in a single season. Overall, it was the 16th season that Michigan State has gone unbeaten at home.
