Michigan State Competes At Big Ten Indoor Championships

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State women's track and field team competed at the first day of the Big Ten Indoor Championships in Minneapolis, Minn. on February 26. Indiana leads the competition with 54 points. The Hoosiers are followed by Purdue (50), Wisconsin (44), Minnesota (25), Michigan (24), Illinois (11), Penn State (11), Ohio State (10), Iowa (3) and Michigan State (2).
MSU freshman Sherita Williams (Tampa, Fla.) led the Spartans with a seventh-place finish in the final round of the long jump (19' 00").
The Spartans return to action at the Big Ten Indoor Championships tomorrow at 10:00 a.m.
