Women's Golf Heads To Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State women's golf team finishes its spring break at the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational March 12-13 in Orlando, Fla. The Spartans are currently ranked 29th in the country according to Golfweek.com.

The Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational is hosted by Rollins College. The two-day tournament will be played at the Tuscawilla Country Club in West Springs, Fla.

In the first outing of the spring season (Feb. 12-14), MSU finished 16th at the TRW Regional Challenge in Los Angeles, Calif. Individually, the Spartans were led by Stacy Snider (Jr./Grand Rapids, Mich.), who carded a three-day total of 77-77-74--228. Emily Bastel (Jr./Upper Sandusky, Ohio) finished tied for 33rd with a three-day total of 72-79-79--230.

Following the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational, MSU hits the links at the Liz Murphey Invitational March 30-April 1 in Athens, Ga.
