Big Ten Names Stacy Snider Golfer of the Week

PARK RIDGE, Ill. - Junior Stacy Snider (Grand Rapids, Mich.) was named Big Ten Golfer of the Week on April 11th for her performance at the Indiana Invitational in Bloomington, Ind., April 7-8. Snider finished 3rd out of 78 golfers, firing a three-round total of 226 (77-78-71). Her final round of 71 tied a personal low score and moved the Spartans into a solid first-place standing for the invitational.

Snider holds four top-five finishes this year, a current MSU team high. She also maintains the third lowest career average in Michigan State history at 77.64. She is shooting a 76.21 season average for the fifth lowest in Spartan records.

Teammate Emily Bastel (Upper Sandusky, Ohio) was named Big Ten Golfer of the Week on April 9th.
