No. 24 Women's Golf Prepares for Indiana Invitational

EAST LANSING, Mich - After a ninth-place finish last weekend at the Liz Murphey Invitational in Athens, Ga., the No. 24 Michigan State women's golf team will face 15 schools at the Indiana Invitational in Bloomington, Ind., April 7-8. The playing field contains eight Big Ten teams, including Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, Northwestern, and Ohio State. Northwestern is ranked 14th nationally while Ohio State has a 17th place standing according to www.golfweek.com.
The IU Golf Course is played at a par 72 with a length of 6700 yards. The teams will play 36 holes on Saturday with an 8:30 a.m. shot-gun start. One round will be played on Sunday, also starting at 8:30 a.m.
