MSU Student-Athletes Receive Academic All-Big Ten Honors

PARK RIDGE, ILL. - The Big Ten Conference announced its Spring Academic All-Big Ten Conference Team and 48 Spartans were among those honored. To be eligible for the Academic All-Big Ten team, an athlete must be a letterwinner in at least their second academic year at their institution and carry a career grade-point average of 3.0 or better.
The ice hockey team led MSU with eight honorees named to the Academic At-Large squad. The women's track squad and crew each had seven honorees apiece, while baseball, men's track and softball teams had five each.
