Men's Soccer Set For Weekend Games

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State men's soccer team will take on Valparaiso, Friday (Sept. 20) at 2 p.m. Sunday (Sept. 22), MSU will open Big Ten play, hosting Indiana at 2:30 p.m. in a rematch of last year's second-round NCAA Tournament game, which the Hoosiers won, 1-0.
The 4-1 Spartans, winners of their last three games, are ranked No. 22, while the Hoosiers are ranked No. 9, according to the latest NSCAA/adidas National Poll. Currently, they are the only nationally-ranked Big Ten teams.
Last weekend, MSU recorded a pair of 3-0 wins in the UMass Soccer Classic over Hartford and Massachusetts.
