EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State University men's soccer team will host Penn State on Sunday (Oct. 19) at Old College Field at 2:30 p.m. EDT. The Spartans (7-3-2, 1-1-2) look to begin a new winning streak after their loss to Michigan on Oct. 12.
Sunday's game will be MSU's fourth consecutive home contest. To wrap up its home stand, Michigan State will play in-state foe Western Michigan on Wednesday (Oct. 22) at Old College Field.
With only two games remaining in Big Ten Play, the Spartans are alone in third place. Their offensive attack, led by Thomas Trivelloni (Sr., Mt. Clemens), John Minagawa-Webster (Jr., Monroe) and Ryan McMahen (So., Munster, Ind.), will try to get the Spartans back to their winning ways. Before their last contest they had not lost a game in one month.
Looking ahead the Spartans face Western Michigan on Oct. 22 at 3:00 p.m. EDT at Old College Field. Then, MSU goes on the road to face Wisconsin on Oct. 26 at 1 p.m. EST.
