Women's Crew Completes Windermere Collegiate Crew Classic

REDWOOD CITY, Calif.- - The Michigan State women's varsity crew rowed for the second day at the Windermere Collegiate Crew Classic hosted by Stanford University today (March 30). The Spartans went head-to-head against Southern Cal.
MSU's varsity four and second varsity eight both recorded it's second win of the weekend against USC. The varsity four won it's race with a time of 7:43.02 ahead of USC's 8:05.44, while the Spartan second varsity eight posted a time 6:45.18 in front of the Trojan time of 7:03.36. The varsity eight finished seconds behind USC at 6:33.91.
"It was a really good racing weekend," said head coach Bebe Bryans. "Our varsity raced top-six teams in the country very closely."
MSU returns to action hosting Notre Dame on Lake Ovid on Saturday, April 12.
