INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Michigan State gymnastics team was selected to the 2003 Women's Gymnastics Regional Championships, the NCAA announced today (March 31). The Spartans will compete at the Central Regional in Tuscaloosa, Ala., on Saturday, April 12.
MSU received the selection with a Regional Qualifying Score (RQS) of 195.340. Joining the Spartans are five ranked teams, including No. 5 Alabama (197.345), No. 7 Oklahoma (197.250), No. 17 Auburn (196.350), No. 21 Kent State (196.035) and No. 25 Central Michigan (195.780).
