EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State men's tennis team was recognized by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association today as a 2003 ITA All-Academic Team. The Spartans, who had a team grade point average of 3.22 for the academic year, were one of just 24 NCAA Division I men's tennis programs to receive the honor, and the only Big Ten men's tennis team to receive the award.
In addition, 2002-03 senior Adam Hourani (Lansing, Mich.) was one of 200 NCAA Division I men's players recognized as a 2003 ITA Scholar-Athlete. Hourani, who also received the award in 2002, owned a 3.662 cumulative grade point average in general management.

Have a grade point average of at least 3.50 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year, and 3.) Have been enrolled at their present school for at least two semesters (including freshman thorough senior year).
