ANAHEIM, Calif. -
Part Two
Escaping the unpredictable weather of the Midwest, Michigan State men's tennis player Anthony Stefani traveled with his teammates to the Los Angeles, Calif., area for spring break and enjoyed every minute. The junior from Grosse Pointe Shores, Mich., highlights some of the team's activities with the following journal entries from the first three days of the week-long journey:

Arrived in California to some pleasant weather in the 50s and 60s. It's supposed to warm up to the 70s and 80s as the week progresses. We played tennis on UCI's courts for about an hour and a half, then got our first view of the beach. The water was COLD!!

Drove down to Malibu to practice on Pepperdine's tennis courts. The campus is unbelievable. Great views of the ocean came with every turn we took. After practice we spent more time at the beach, then went to dinner. After dinner we went to the ESPN Zone for some fun games in Downtown Disney.

Woke up and again went to UCI to practice. It was very hot today, in the upper 80s. A lot of the guys are sunburned from forgetting sunblock. Had a long practice then went to Laguna Beach. This was the first time everyone got in the water. It was even colder than Friday, but we were able to get pretty close to some dolphins. We ate dinner in Laguna, then came back to the hotel and went bowling. It was very intense as everyone was really getting into it.
