Women's Track Completes Competition At Mt. SAC Relays

WALNUT, Calif. - The Michigan State women's track and field team wrapped up competition at the Mt. SAC Relays Sunday in Walnut, Calif., with just one competitor during the final day's events.
Senior Sherita Williams placed seventh for the Spartans in the invitational triple jump with a leap of 42-2 1/4, which was the second-best outdoor mark in MSU history. Williams' jump trailed only her best distance of 42-10 3/4 set in 2002.
Colleen Scott of the Trabuco Hill Track Club won the invitational triple jump with a leap of 45-9 3/4.
The Michigan State women's track team will compete next weekend at both the Drake Relays (April 22-24) and the Hillsdale Relays (April 23-24).
