Senior Duo Complete Last Day At Drake Relays

DES MOINES, Iowa- Two members of the Michigan State women's track and field team competed today at the 95th annual Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa.
The two competitors for the Spartans were seniors Sherita Williams, who finished second in the long jump with a leap of 18-10 1/2, and Sarah Adelaine, who placed eighth in the hammer throw with a toss of 178-7.
On Friday, Williams won the triple jump by tying her MSU all-time outdoor record with a leap of 42-10 3/4, while Adelaine placed sixth in the discus throw (159-0) and finished 11th in the shot put with a toss of 48-7 1/4.
The Spartans will host the MSU Twilight on Friday, April 30 at the Ralph Young Track in East Lansing, Michigan. Meet time is TBA.
