Brock Radunske Signs With The Edmonton Oilers

EDMONTON, ALBERTA - Michigan State forward Brock Radunske (New Hamburg, Ont.) has signed a three-year deal with the Edmonton Oilers and will forgo his final year of eligibility with the Spartan hockey program.
Radunske, a 6-4, 196-lb. forward, was chosen by the Oilers in the third round (No. 79 overall) of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. As a junior in 2003-04, Radunske appeared in all 42 games, recording 12 goals and 10 assists for 22 points to rank fifth on MSU in scoring. He also added 60 penalty minutes to finish second on the team in that category.
He posted a career-best four points (two goals, two assists), twice in 2003-04 - once vs. Wayne State (Nov. 21, 2003) and the second vs. Michigan Tech (Dec. 27, 2003) in the Great Lakes Invitational. His four points vs. MTU earned him a spot on the GLI All-Tournament team.
During his three-year career at MSU, Radunske tallied 27-37-64 totals and added 118 penalty minutes in 119 games. He posted a career-best 29 points (11 goals, 18 assists) as a sophomore in 2002-03 and finished with 13 points (four goals, nine assists) as a freshman in 2001-02.
