Junior quarterback Drew Stanton finished the game 20-for-38 with 234 yards passing...it marks his eighth-straight 200-yard passing game, which ties a school record along with Jeff Smoker...Stanton currently has 2,840 passing yards this season, which ties him for 10th place in the MSU single-season records (Tony Banks-1994)...he also had 16 touchdown passes, which ties him for sixth in the MSU single-season records (Dave Yarema-1986).
Freshman running back Javon Ringer rushed for 104 yards on 18 attempts...it marks his second 100-yard rushing game this season (194 yards vs. Illinois)...Ringer leads the Spartans with 584 yards rushing this season.
Sophomore running back Jehuu Caulcrick rushed for 32 yards on nine carries, surpassing the 1,000-yard mark for his career...he now has 1,010 career yards on 183 attempts.
Senior Domata Peko recovered his second fumble of the season at the 8:46 mark in the first quarter...the first one he recovered for a 74-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter against Michigan...it's the fifth fumble recovery for MSU in the past two games.
Michigan State scored a touchdown on its first possession of the game, scoring on three plays in just 1:01...MSU's first play from scrimmage was a 53-yard completion from Stanton to Brown...State scored on an 18-yard touchdown reception by Kerry Reed, his third of the season.
