ARDMORE, Okla. - The Michigan State men's golf team is in seventh place after two rounds of The Maxwell played on Saturday. The Spartans shot 272-275--547 and are five shots back of fifth place.
Matt Harmon, who is in eighth place, leads the Spartans. He carded a 69 in the first round and a 68 in the second round for a 137 total. Ryan Brehm is tied for ninth place after shooting matching rounds of 69 for a 138 total.
Randy Hutchison is 36th with a 73-73--146, Grant Tungate is 44th with a 75-74--149, and Steve Cuzzort is 46th with a 75-75--150. Playing as an individual, Nate Gunthrope carded a 152 (79-73).
The final round is set for Sunday.
