Softball Game Against Hofstra Postponed Until Sunday

CLEARWATER, Fla. - Thunderstorms and lightning delayed Michigan State's Thursday afternoon game against Hofstra indefinitely, and while tournament management attempted to reschedule games for later in afternoon, continual rain forced the officials to call off the remaining games.
Michigan State's Friday and Saturday games will stay on schedule, while the Hofstra contest will be played on Sunday, March 9; the times of the postponed games will be determined and announced depending on participating teams' travel schedules.
The Spartans will face Illinois-Chicago and No. 13 Baylor at 12 p.m. and 5 p.m., respectively, tomorrow. Live stats for those games can be found at www.msuspartans.com
