Softball To Play Six Games This Fall

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State softball team will gear up for the 2010 spring campaign with six games scheduled during the fall. The fall schedule begins on Saturday, Sept. 26 with a doubleheader against Jackson Community College, beginning at 1 p.m. Both games will be played at Old College Field.
The Spartans open the month of October with a home-and-home series with in-state rival Michigan. The Wolverines will host MSU for the first game on Thursday, Oct. 1 at 6 p.m. Nine days later the Spartans will entertain the Wolverines at Old College Field on Saturday, Oct. 11 at 1 p.m.
The Spartans conclude their fall schedule with two games on Sunday, Oct. 11 at Old College Field. MSU begins the day with an 11 a.m. game against Detroit followed by a game against Wayne State at 3 p.m.
