Michigan now leads the all-time series 68-32-5, including a 49-20-3 record in Ann Arbor . . . Michigan's 12-10 win snaps MSU's four-game winning streak in the series . . . Mark Dantonio is now 4-2 against the Wolverines.
The 12 points scored by Michigan were the lowest by a U-M team in the series since scoring seven points in 1993.
The 12 points were the fewest allowed in a Spartan loss since a 10-0 setback at Indiana on Oct. 30, 1993.
Michigan State recorded a season-high 9.0 tackles for loss (29 yards).
Junior Max Bullough posted double-digit tackles for the third time in the last four games . . . Bullough had 10 tackles today and has averaged 10.5 tackles over the last four games . . . he also added a career-high two pass break-ups and recorded his first interception of the season.
Junior Denicos Allen led MSU in tackles for the second-straight game with 11 . . . he is averaging 12.0 tackles over the last two weekends . . . Allen also had a season-high 3.0 tackles for loss.
Sophomore Kurtis Drummond set career highs with five tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss.
Anthony Rashad White recorded a season-high five tackles, including a half tackle for loss . . . he also had a pass break-up.
Freshman Aaron Burbridge led MSU in receptions and receiving yards for the third consecutive game . . . Burbridge totaled six receptions for 51 yards today . . . over the last three games, he is averaging 6.3 catches and 91.3 yards per game.
Tony Lippett tied his career high with five receptions for 39 yards.
With 26 rushing attempts, junior Le'Veon Bell moved into 11th place on the MSU career rushing attempts list with 515 . . . he also became the 10th Spartan to surpass 2,500 career rushing yards . . . Bell now has 984 rushing yards this season, which is a career high (948 as a sophomore in 2011) . . . he returned his first kick of the season on the first play of the game and returned it 30 yards . . . he finished with 103 all-purpose yards (68 rushing, 30 kick return, 5 receiving).
Mike Sadler averaged 41.4 yards on seven punts, including four placed inside the 20 . . . on fourth-and-9 from MSU's 23-yard line in the fourth quarter, Sadler ran a fake punt 26 yards for a Spartan first down, leading to Dan Conroy's go-ahead field goal at the 5:48 mark.
Paul Lang caught his first career TD on a 2-yard reception from Andrew Maxwell in the third quarter.
Red-shirt freshman Donavon Clark started his first career game at left tackle . . . MSU used its sixth different starting combination today on the offensive line, as Dan France had to sit out (concussion).
