INDIANAPOLIS - Consensus All-American defensive tackle Jerel Worthy worked out for scouts at the NFL Combine on Monday at Lucas Oil Stadium. Check out how Worthy did on his results page on NFL.com.
Before testing, Worthy met with reporters on Sunday to talk about his career at Michigan State and what he expects at the next level.
"He flashes on tape as much as anyone I've watched on the defensive line," ESPN's Todd McShay said of Worthy. "When he's going hard, he's a mid-first-round player who could be a major impact interior defensive lineman. He gets off the ball quickly; he's very explosive and can disrupt in the backfield. I've got him as the No. 2 defensive tackle right now, behind Michael Brockers from LSU."
In addition, former Spartans and current Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Blair White and cornerback Chris L. Rucker stopped by Lucas Oil Stadium to support their ex-teammates at the NFL Combine. Hear their interviews in Spartan All-Access.
