EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Spartan Ticket Office will begin accepting online requests and payments for football student-season admissions from full-time undergraduates as well as graduate and professional students returning for Fall 2012 at www.msuspartans.com, beginning Saturday, April 7. Student-season admissions are priced at $175 ($22 per game plus $10 T-shirt and $11 processing fee) and include the official 2012 student-section T-shirt.
Returning full-time graduate and professional students for Fall 2012 have the option to purchase either the $175 student-season admission or a reserved seat for $225 (includes an additional $50 Spartan Fund Membership).
Student-season admissions for incoming freshmen and transfer students as well as incoming graduate and professional students for Fall 2012 go on sale Tuesday, Aug. 7.
Student-season admissions have exceeded 13,500 in sales for each of the last five seasons (since 2007).
Student seating will continue to be assigned by section on a first-come basis, so students are encouraged to arrive and enter the stadium with the people that they intend to sit with during the game. Graduate and professional students, who select to purchase the reserved-seat option, may request a group or individual with whom they wish to sit near in the comments section of the online application.

Sixth-year Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio and his team will tackle a demanding seven-game home schedule in 2012, including non-conference games against Boise State (Aug. 31), Notre Dame (Sept. 15) and Eastern Michigan (Sept. 22), plus Big Ten contests against Ohio State (Sept. 29), Iowa (Oct. 13/Homecoming), Nebraska (Nov. 3) and Northwestern (Nov. 17).
Dantonio welcomes back 17 starters from last year's team that won the Big Ten Legends Division title, tied the school single-season record with 11 wins and finished No. 10 in the final USA TODAY Poll. Michigan State has won 14-consecutive games in Spartan Stadium - its longest home streak since winning 19 straight from 1950-53 (teams coached by Clarence "Biggie" Munn) and the fourth-longest active streak in the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision (LSU - 17; Wisconsin - 16; Northern Illinois - 15; MSU - 14).
Michigan State has ranked among the NCAA's Top 25 in football attendance each of the last 56 years, including No. 20 in 2011, averaging 74,078 fans per game. The Spartans ranked No. 18 in the NCAA in total attendance, as 518,545 fans went through the turnstiles for seven home games in 2011.
