MSU Welcomes Western Michigan for Midweek Contest

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Spartans host Western Michigan on Tuesday afternoon at McLane Baseball Stadium at 3:05 p.m. Michigan State is coming off being swept for the first time this season, dropping three to Michigan. The Broncos took one of three games against Ball State this past weekend. WMU took the first game of the series, 12-11 in 11 innings. Chase Rihtarchik is 3-0 on the season with a 1.85 ERA, he gets the nod for the Spartans. In a win against Central last week, Rihtarchik threw six innings and allowed just two runs and three hits.
