Meet the Spartans: Katie Miller

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State field hockey team will feature each of the freshman this fall in attempt to "Meet the Spartans". This week freshman goalkeeper Katie Miller (Country Kildare, Ireland) sat down with msuspartans.com to answer some questions.

Something not many people know about you: I used to do ballet.
What can't you live without?: Chocolate milk

Pre game superstitions: Tighten my pads and fix my hair band twice
Biggest influence in life has been: My brother
Biggest pet peeve: People saying they committed 110% - THERE IS ONLY 100%
If you could play any sport besides field hockey, what would it be?: Basketball

If you could travel anywhere, where would it be?: Dubai
Most interesting place you've been is: Piaui, Brazil
Something you're not good at: Speling
Most memorable field hockey experience: A tournament final with my school team last year in Antwerp, Belgium. The match was tied and went to strokes, I saved 3,and we won the match and then I was piled on!
If you could be someone for a day, who would it be?: My dog, because she is spoiled rotten!
If you could go back in time, who would you like to meet?: My granddad, he died when I was really young
Favorite TV show: Grey's Anatomy for sure!
