• Michigan State won its sixth straight game over Indiana and improved its all-time record to 44-15-2 against the Hoosiers . . . MSU has won 14 of the last 16 meetings against IU . . . MSU is 21-9-1 against Indiana in Bloomington . . . since 1950, the winner of the MSU-IU game has been presented the Old Brass Spittoon; MSU is 44-12-1 against IU since 1950.
• Mark Dantonio coached in his 100th game at Michigan State . . . he improved his record to 70-30 as head coach of the Spartans . . . he is now tied with Charlie Bachman for the second-most wins by a Spartan coach (record: Duffy Daugherty with 109) . . . Dantonio also improved to 41-18 in Big Ten games . . . Dantonio is 6-0 against Indiana, including a 3-0 mark in Memorial Stadium.
• Michigan State tied a school record with its eighth straight Big Ten road win . . . MSU also accomplished the feat in 1965-67 and 1988-90 . . . Dantonio is 21-9 in Big Ten road games.
• The Spartans won their 13th consecutive game over a Big Ten opponent (including the 2013 Big Ten Championship Game against Ohio State) and their 12th straight in conference play (school record: 16 from 1965-67) . . . the current 12-game streak is the second-longest Big Ten winning streak in school history.
• Michigan State limited Indiana to just 11 passing yards, the fewest allowed in the Dantonio era (previous: 53 passing yards by Iowa in 2007).
• Michigan State recorded 662 yards of total offense, the most in the Dantonio era and the fourth most in school history . . . MSU's 30 first downs also tied the most under Dantonio . . . MSU has collected more than 500 yards of total offense four times this season.
• With their 56 points, the Spartans have scored at least 50 points in a game this season three times (73 vs. Eastern Michigan, 56 vs. Wyoming) . . . it marks the first time since 1978 MSU has scored 50 points three times in a single-season.
• MSU gained 330 yards on the ground, marking the third time this season the Spartans have rushed for more than 300 yards (336 vs. Eastern Michigan; 338 vs. Wyoming) . . . it marks the first time MSU has rushed for more than 300 yards in a Big Ten game since 2007 (368 vs. Indiana).
• Nick Hill recorded career highs in carries (16) and rushing yards (178) . . . he also had a career-long 76-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
• Connor Cook completed 24-of-32 passes for 332 yards, three touchdowns and one interception . . . it marks his second 300-yard passing game of the season and fourth of his career . . . it also marks his fifth 200-yard passing game of the season and 13th of his career . . . Cook has thrown a touchdown pass in 14 consecutive games (school record: 16 by Kirk Cousins and Drew Stanton) . . . Cook is 18-2 as the starting quarterback, including a 12-0 record against Big Ten opponents . . . he now has 39 career touchdown passes, which ranks seventh most in MSU history.
• Jeremy Langford had 21 carries for 109 yards, marking his 11th straight 100-yard game against a Big Ten opponent and his 10th straight in conference play . . . Langford's 10 consecutive 100-yard rushing performances in Big Ten regular-season games is a school record, and is the longest such streak by a Big Ten running back since Curtis Enis of Penn State (11 straight in 1996-97) . . . Langford now has 2,109 rushing yards in his career, which ranks 16th most in MSU history . . . Langford rushed for three touchdowns (32 yards, 8 yards and 12 yards) and now has 25 rushing TDs in his career, which is tied for 11th most in school history . . . Langford also now has 12 career 100-yard rushing games, including four straight.
• Hill and Langford became the first Spartan duo to rush for more than 100 yards in a game since 2011 (Le'Veon Bell 141 yards, Edwin Baker 117 yards vs. Western Michigan).
• Tony Lippett led the Spartans with seven catches for 123 yards for his fifth 100-yard receiving game of the season . . . however, his streak of eight straight games with a touchdown catch was snapped on Saturday.
• Macgarrett Kings had a career-high six catches for 59 yards.
• Josiah Price had a career-high 83 receiving yards on three catches, including a 67-yard reception in the second quarter.
• Ed Davis recorded a career-high six tackles, including a 1-yard sack.
• Shilique Calhoun posted four tackles, including 2.5 for losses (20 yards) and an 11-yard sack.
• Trae Waynes recorded a career-high two tackles for loss (9 yards), including a 4-yard sack.
• Michigan State scored a touchdown its first possession of the game for the fifth time in seven games this season.
• MSU entered the game leading the FBS in time of possession . . . the Spartans held a 39:24-20:36 advantage on Saturday against the Hoosiers.
