Mark Dantonio coached in his 100th game at Michigan State . . . he improved his record to 70-30 as head coach of the Spartans . . . he is now tied with Charlie Bachman for the second-most wins by a Spartan coach (record: Duffy Daugherty with 109) . . . Connor Cook completed 24-of-32 passes for 332 yards, three touchdowns and one interception . . . it marks his second 300-yard passing game of the season and fourth of his career . . . it also marks his fifth 200-yard passing game of the season and 13th of his career . . . Jeremy Langford had 21 carries for 109 yards, marking his 11th straight 100-yard game against a Big Ten opponent and his 10th straight in conference play . . . Langford's 10 consecutive 100-yard rushing performances in Big Ten regular-season games is a school record, and is the longest such streak by a Big Ten running back since Curtis Enis of Penn State (11 straight in 1996-97) . . . Langford now has 2,109 rushing yards in his career, which ranks 16th most in MSU history . . . Langford rushed for three touchdowns (32 yards, 8 yards and 12 yards) and now has 25 rushing TDs in his career, which is tied for 11th most in school history . . . Langford also now has 12 career 100-yard rushing games, including four straight.
Hill and Langford became the first Spartan duo to rush for more than 100 yards in a game since 2011 (Le'Veon Bell 141 yards, Edwin Baker 117 yards vs. Western Michigan).
Tony Lippett led the Spartans with seven catches for 123 yards for his fifth 100-yard receiving game of the season . . . however, his streak of eight straight games with a touchdown catch was snapped on Saturday.
Macgarrett Kings had a career-high six catches for 59 yards.
Josiah Price had a career-high 83 receiving yards on three catches, including a 67-yard reception in the second quarter.
Ed Davis recorded a career-high six tackles, including a 1-yard sack.
