College Football Playoff Ticket and Fan Information

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State has been selected to participate in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Dec. 31 as the No. 3 seed in the College Football Playoff. Michigan State will play No. 2 Alabama. Each university is allotted 13,000 tickets (UPDATE: MSU has sold out of its allotment).
The Spartan Ticket Office will accept requests-with-payment for both the National Semifinal & National Championship beginning tonight (Sunday, December 6) from all Spartan Fund, University donors, and football season ticket holders.
Fans are encouraged to place their request-with-payment for the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic prior to the priority request deadline of 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 8 by logging in (click here) to their Spartan Ticket Office account or by calling the Spartan Ticket Office at 517-355-1610 or 1-800 GOSTATE (1-800-467-8283) Monday & Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Based on the current high demand, not all requests-with-payments will be able to be accommodated. Requests-with-payment for the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic will be filled or refunded beginning on Tuesday, Dec. 8 at 10 p.m., to the email address on file with the Spartan Ticket Office. Tickets for the Cotton Bowl Classic can be requested at either $150 or $240 per ticket depending on donor level. Seat locations will be determined in Spartan Fund donor priority order.
The MSU Alumni Association, in partnership with Conlin Travel, will provide a three-night (Tuesday, Dec. 29 -- Friday, Jan. 1) bowl tour opportunity. For more information, please visit: MSUAA Spartan Central

With a victory in the National Semifinal, Michigan State would advance to the 2016 College Football Playoff National Championship at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, on Monday, Jan. 11, 2016 at 8:30 p.m. ET.

National Championship ticket request-with-payment may be made at the same time as the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic with a priority request deadline of Monday, Jan. 4. Seat locations will be determined in Spartan Fund donor priority order. National Championship Ticket Cost(s) range from $450-$650 per ticket for donor/public. Requests-with-payment will be assessed a $1 processing fee per ticket to validate credit card. Full ticket purchase price will be processed should Michigan State advance to the National Championship.

2015-16 College Football Playoff Student Ticket Information (National Semifinal)
MSU students may request with payment one (1) student ticket to the Goodyear Cotton Bowl. The student ticket price is $75.
A non-refundable processing fee of $15 will be applied to each student ticket request. In the event that MSU student ticket requests exceed 500, there will be a lottery to determine the recipients. MSU students with 2015 student football season admissions will receive priority.
Requests with payment from MSU Students will be accepted on-line at msuspartans.com Sunday, Dec. 6 through Tuesday, Dec. 8 at 6 p.m.
MSU students will receive notification on the status of their ticket requests after 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 8.
Student tickets must be picked up in Texas (locations and times to be determined) with MSU student I.D. and one additional photo I.D. Taco Bell and ESPN have teamed up to sponsor the student section. Students selected in MSU's Taco Bell and ESPN student section who pick up their student ticket at the bowl destination will receive a refund of $75 applied to the credit card used to purchase.
Should MSU student ticket requests exceed 500, up to 750 additional tickets priced at $150 each will be reserved adjacent to the designated student section. The opportunity to purchase will be offered to MSU students using the lottery results. Refund does not apply to these $150 ticket purchases.
