The Spring Clinics are designed to provide young field hockey athletes with an opportunity to hone their basic skills, play small games, and meet the Spartan players and the MSU coaching staff. This fun, field hockey mini-camp is full of goal scoring, game play and specialized goalkeeping training sessions.
"The staff is excited to welcome local and out of state field hockey athletes to campus for a series of clinics," said head coach Helen Knull.
The clinics are open to all girls and boys ages 10-18. Suggested attire is sports clothes and sneakers or turf shoes. Shin guards and mouth guards are required to participate. All athletes are requested to bring their own field hockey stick and goal keepers to bring all of their necessary gear.
There is limited space for the clinic and early registration is suggested. Registration can be completed on the day of the event, starting 30 minutes prior to the clinic start time or by mail. There is a $50 fee to participate in the clinic or $180 for all four clinics.
