
Spartans Remain No. 16 in College Football Playoff Rankings

EAST LANSING, Mich. â€" Following its 40-7 victory over Rutgers in the regular-season finale, Michigan State remained at No. 16 in this week's College Football Playoff rankings, the CFP committee announced on Tuesday night.
The Spartans have been ranked in all five CFP rankings this fall.
Since the CFP first started in 2014, Michigan State has appeared in the rankings 18 times, third most in the Big Ten and tied for ninth most in the FBS.
MSU has played four CFP Top 25 teams, including a win over No. 9 Penn State.
The Spartans (9-3, 7-2 Big Ten) will find out their bowl destination on Sunday.
