Langford, Ward Help Lead No. 10 Michigan State Past FGCU, 106-82

East Lansing, Mich.. – Junior forward Nick Ward (Gahanna, Ohio/Lincoln) tied his career-high with 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, while junior guard Joshua Langford (Huntsville, Ala./Madison Academy) had his first career double-double (18 points, 10 rebounds) as No. 10 Michigan State scored 59 points in the first half en route to a 106-82 win over Florida Gulf Coast on Sunday evening at the Breslin Center.

· Michigan State led by 24 points, 59-35, at the break, and took its biggest lead of the game, 67-40, on a layup from redshirt senior guard Kenny Goins (Troy, Mich./Warren Mott) at the 17:26 mark.
· FGCU, however, would use a 13-2 run to pull within 69-53 on a 3-pointer from Christian Carlyle with 15:03 to play in the game.
