Final Results

East Lansing, Mich. -- The B1G-ACC All-Star Challenge concluded on Sunday in West Lafayette, Ind. The Big Ten defeated the Atlantic Coast Conference on both the men's and women's sides. The men finished with a score of 179-174 and the women finished 251-102.

Ellie Roche, Ana Sortland, Michael Schwers and Payton Woods all contributed to the win for the Big Ten.

Roche, Schwers and Woods all placed in their relays along with other Big Ten competitors.

In the women's 200 Medley Relay, Roche, along with Katie Coughlin (Wisconsin), Kelsey Drake (Iowa) and Hannah Burvill (Iowa), took sixth place with a time of 1:40.74.

The men's 200 Medley Relay, came in seventh with a time of 1:29.91; that team featured Schwers, Jack Thorne (Northwestern), William Hofstadter (Northwestern) and Gabriel Castano (Penn State).

Woods took sixth place in the 400 Freestyle Relay, clocked at 2:57.41. His team consisted of William Scott (Iowa), Gabe Castano (Penn State) and Griffin Back (Wisconsin).

Up next for the Spartans, the divers will head to the Hawkeye Invitational in Iowa City, Iowa on Nov. 15-17. The swimmers will head to Evanston, Illinois for the Northwestern Invitational on Nov.16-18.
