Meet the Spartans: Stone Moscovic

EAST LANSING, Mich. -Â Michigan State wrestling will feature a freshman periodically throughout the preseason in order to "Meet the Spartans" leading up to the 2018-19Â season.
This week, freshman Stone Moscovic (Davisburg, Michigan/Catholic Central High School) sat down with msuspartans.com to answer some questions.
1. Why did you choose to wrestle at Michigan State?
I chose to wrestle at Michigan State because of the strong coaching staff and the desire to be part of a team with the potential to make a statement not only in the BIG 10, but nationally.

2. What are you most excited about as you begin your Spartan wrestling career?
I am most excited about accomplishing the goals I have set for myself on a collegiate level individually and as a team.

3. When did you first start wrestling?
I started wrestling when I was 12 years old.

4. Favorite wrestling memory?
My favorite wrestling memory was winning two team state titles.

5. What's your major at Michigan State and why?
My major is Construction Management. I chose this major because of the exposure I have had growing up with our family business. I enjoy being able to help create and manage building projects.

6. Who has taught you the most about wrestling growing up?
The person that taught me the most about wrestling growing up was my father.

7. What superhero power would you have if you could choose one?
Easy, I'd control time.

8. Favorite meal?
My favorite meal is steak and baked potatoes. (with A1)

My favorite TV show is How I Met Your Mother

10. Favorite thing to do besides wrestling?
My favorite thing to do besides wrestling is to fish and to fold laundry with my mother.
