Academic All-Big Ten Honors Announced for the 2018-19 Winter Season

EAST LANSING, Mich. --Â The Big Ten Conference announced the Academic All-Big Ten honorees for the 2018-19 Winter sports season on Wednesday, March 20. In all, 80 Michigan State student-athletes were honored over the Spartans' seven winter sports. MSU led the conference with 7 student-athletes posting a perfect 4.0 GPA.Â
Complete List of the 2018-19 Winter Academic All-Big Ten Selections
To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, students must be on a varsity team, as verified by being on the official squad list as of March 1 for winter sports, who have been enrolled fulltime at the institution for a minimum of 12 months and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher. Women's swimming and diving's Taylor Arnold, Courtney Aycock, and Amanda Ling, wrestling's Cameron Caffey, hockey's Austin Kamer, and men's swimming and diving's Nehemiah Mork and Scott Piper were seven of the 22 Big Ten student-athletes honored with a 4.0 GPA.
