East Lansing, Mich. - Redshirt senior Kenny Goins (Troy, Mich./Warren Mott) scored a career-high 24 points and hit a career-best six 3-pointers and senior guard Matt McQuaid (Duncanville, Texas/Duncanville) had a career-high 22 points as No. 9 Michigan State used a big first half to beat Nebraska, 91-76, at the Breslin Center Tuesday night.
Freshman forward Aaron Henry (Indianapolis, Ind./Ben Davis) scored a career-high 15 points and had five rebounds, while sophomore forward Xavier Tillman (Grand Rapids, Mich./GR Christian) added 11 points and eight rebounds and junior guard Cassius Winston (Detroit, Mich./University of Detroit Jesuit) chipped in eight points and 10 assists.
