This is the final game of the Spring for the Spartans.
EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State men's soccer concludes its Spring schedule taking on the U20 Mexican National Team on Sunday, April 28 at 6 p.m. at DeMartin Stadium.
"The highlight of the spring will be playing the U20 Mexican National Team at DeMartin Stadium. Not often do you get to play an international match against a national team. We hope to connect with a great Hispanic community that resides throughout Michigan. This team will represent the best players in Mexico under the age of 20 pro or amateur. This will not only be a great soccer experience for our guys, but a great cultural experience as well," MSU head coach Rensing said.
The Spartans have had a busy Spring with games against the Lansing Ignite in the inaugural Capital Cup and Detroit FC in Detroit. Michigan State fans will get a chance to see the Spartans one last time in East Lansing.
Michigan State is coming off of one of its most successful seasons in school history, reaching the NCAA College Cup for the first time in 50 years. The Spartans ended the season with a 14-5-4 record. The 2019 Michigan State squad will bring back two of its top four scorers in midfielder Giuseppe Barone and forward Farai Mutatu.
Tickets are available at msuspartans.com and all seats are general admission. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for youth (18 and under). Fans are encouraged to buy tickets in advance to avoid any long lines.
