Rivalry Renewed as No. 14 Michigan State Hosts No. 12 Michigan on Sunday at the Breslin Center

East Lansing, Mich. – Michigan State's men's basketball team hosts in-state rival Michigan on Sunday, Jan. 5 in the fourth game of a five-game homestand. Tipoff is slated for 1:30 p.m.
The Spartans are coming off a 76-56 win over Illinois on Thursday night and the game against UM is the second of three Big Ten in a week, as MSU hosts Minnesota on Thursday, Jan. 9. Michigan State is ranked No. 14 in the Associated Press Top 25, No. 16 in the USA Today Coaches poll and No. 4 per kenpom.com, No. 19 in the NCAA Net and No. 2 in the ESPN BPI.
The Michigan-Michigan State game will air live on CBS, with Ian Eagle and Bill Raftery calling all of the action. The Spartan Sports Network radio call can be heard on one of 38 affiliates and on the web at SpartanSportsNetwork.com, with Will Tieman handling the play-by-play and Matt Steigenga serving as the color analyst. The game can also be heard on Sirius 206, XM 195 and Internet 957.
