Four Spartans Garner AHCA All-America Scholar Accolades

EAST LANSING – Four Spartans have been named Krampade All-American Scholars by the American Hockey Coaches Association, the organization announced on Tuesday (July 21). Josh Nodler, Adam Goodsir, Austin Kamer and Jerad Rosburg all garnered the accolade, having achieved the criteria of posting a minimum 3.75 GPA in the fall semester and appearing in at least 40% of the Spartans' games.
For Kamer, it marks the third consecutive year the rising senior has earned the Krampade/AHCA All-American Scholar award. Kamer owns a perfect 4.0 cumulative GPA and is a chemical engineering major. The native of Grand Rapids appeared in all but two games in 2019-20, registering a goal and an assist.
As a rookie, Nodler also sported a 4.0 GPA as a computer science major. Nodler was named the team's Rookie of the Year as he recorded eight points (3g, 5a) in skating in all 36 games.
Rosburg, a finance major, posted a 3.83 GPA in the fall and graduated in May with an overall GPA of 3.69. The defenseman recorded a career high in points (17) and assists (13) as he was voted to the All-Big Ten second team. Following the season, Rosburg signed an entry-level contract with the Dallas Stars.
Goodsir is a human biology major owned a 3.769 GPA in the fall. The Okemos native played in every game in 2019-20 and had four assists.
A total of 318 NCAA Men's Division I players were named to the Krampade AHCA All-American Scholar team. Michigan State's four honorees tied for the most among any school in the conference.
