Michigan State Men’s Soccer Announces 2021 Schedule

The Spartans will play a 10-game conference-only schedule.
EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State head coach Damon Rensing announced the Spartans' 2021 schedule. After the fall season was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Michigan State will now play a 10-game conference only-schedule.
With nine Big Ten men's soccer programs, MSU will play every team once and will take on regional rivals Michigan and Ohio State twice. The Spartans will open the season hosting Rutgers on Feb. 19. Michigan State will then hit the road for games against Michigan (Feb. 23) and Penn State (Feb. 27).
MSU will open March at home against Ohio State on March 3 before concluding a homestand against Northwestern on March 11. The Spartans will take on Big Ten Tournament champion Indiana on March 15 in Bloomington before taking on Maryland on the road on March 19.
Michigan State will take on in-state rival Michigan for the second time at home on March 23, before playing its home regular-season finale against Wisconsin on March 31. The Spartans' close out the regular season on the road against Ohio State in the teams second meeting.
Details on venues and kickoff times will be announced at a later date. Under current Big Ten guidelines, the general public, beyond student-athletes' families, are not permitted for 2021 Spartan men's soccer home games.
